Delta Air Lines adding sixth nonstop flight between Atlanta and Liberia, Costa Rica, April 4

ATLANTA -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) announced today it will offer customers one
additional nonstop flight a week between its Atlanta hub and Liberia, Costa Rica,
effective April 4. With the addition of this flight, Delta will offer customers
service between Atlanta and Liberia six times weekly.
The flights will operate Tuesday through Sunday with a 148-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Delta currently offers service between the cities five times weekly, Thursday-Monday.
"We were the first U.S. carrier to offer year-round, scheduled service to Liberia,
and the popularity of this exciting leisure destination is continually growing.
We are adding service to meet that growing demand," said Subodh Karnik, Delta's
senior vice president - Network and Revenue Management. "We are pleased Delta passengers
will now have the exclusive choice of flying six days a week between the beautiful
Guanacaste region of Costa Rica and Atlanta."

On Dec. 1, 2002, Delta became the first major U.S. carrier to offer permanent regular
service between Atlanta's Hartsfield International Airport and Daniel Oduber International
Airport in Liberia, Guanacaste. Delta also offers daily nonstop service between
Atlanta and San Jose, Costa Rica.
